I just posted not long ago. And im posting a post again? What happened here?
Haha pelik kan, okay so here it goes xD
Actually, a few days ago, i went to an interview in a clinic nearby my house.
And... alhamdulillah! I get the job as a doctor assistant in the clinic :OOO
Cerita masa interview......
The interview took about 20 minutes and mostly kiteorg borak about my medical background. Sebab the doctor was quite shocked to have a medical graduates untuk mohon bekerja. The doctor initially thought i was a nursing students.
And she actually felt heavy heart untuk let me kerja at her clinic sebab takut i wont able to learn a lot or reach my expectations of learning. Sebab GP is different from hospital. And i am aware of that.
Note: GP is a term usually what we in medical field used for private sector clinic. And masa medical student, memang pernah ada posting dekat GP.
Differences of GP and government clinic/hospital --> history taking usually brief. And cases usually simple cases.
But i dont really mind. Sebab after few months of graduating, nak kena warm up slowly with all my knowledge from medschool. Starts handling patient by myself. So, its okay to take it slow :)
She asked me, what i expect to learn from the clinic? She asked regarding housemanship. She even mention to me regarding CTGs, ECGs, venepuncture done in the clinic. That once in a while i can practice on.
She asked me if i able to take history from patient yang datang if she lets me. She asked me regarding drugs. At the end of interview, she mentioned that she will inform me again if i get the job.
And while im spending my time watching tv with my family tonight, suddenly i got a whatsapp messages. Its from the doctor.
She sent me a poster of booster vaccination that will be held at the clinic this February. The clinic will be a place for walk-in booster vaccination. And she asked me if i able to start to work tomorrow.
So im thinking she wanted me to help with the vaccination programme. But i need to be familiar with the medical equipments dekat sana dulu xD
So i accepted the tawaran! :)
This will be officially my first time in life working. Rasa nervous okay xD
Apapun, wish me luck guys. I need to get some experiences working before i'll be starting my housemanship.
